- Vehicle Information: VIN, make, model, year, and service history associated with scheduled appointments.

Vehicle Data & VIN Lookups
When a VIN is entered to identify a vehicle, the information may be checked against trusted third-party databases, including the NHTSA Vehicle Product Information Catalog (vPIC) and Auto.dev. This process allows for accurate decoding of VINs to confirm details such as make, model, engine type, and service specifications.
- VINs are not sold, shared, or stored outside the purpose of scheduling and servicing.
- VINs are transmitted securely for lookup purposes only.
- Data returned from these sources is used solely to match vehicles with correct service recommendations.
Sharing of Information
Personal information and data is never sold to third parties. Limited sharing may occur in the following circumstances:
- With trusted third-party providers that support essential functions (such as payment processing or scheduling systems).
- When disclosure is required by law or legal process.
- To protect the safety, rights, or property of Greasy Gills, its customers, or others.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device to improve your experience and allow certain features to function.
- Login & Session Cookies: If you visit the login page, a temporary cookie is set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
